Gary, my wonderful husband, grew up in Smithville, TN and is retired from Pepsi Bottling in Nashville. My son, Adam, in his mid-20s, is in marketing and advertising in Tullahoma, TN. Brittany, my daughter, is in her early 20s and is an event and wedding coordinator. Her son, Asa, is my first grandchild and he makes MiMi and Pop the happiest grandparents on earth! I enjoy decorating and finding a great deal. As often as possible, you can find us traveling to the beach or the mountains, cruising, ‘treasure’ hunting, boating and fishing.

Raised on a farm right outside of Murfreesboro, I could not imagine calling any other place home. I have been surrounded by Real Estate my whole life having many family members as developers, builders or agents in Rutherford and the surrounding counties. 

I attended Homer Pittard Campus School, Central Middle School, Riverdale High School and later became a graduate of MTSU. I grew up spending my time outdoors riding horses and exploring ours and the surrounding farms on foot. My passions are art and history, nature, reading and traveling as often as possible. My husband, Shawn and I were married in 2001 and spend our time riding our motorcycles, geocashing, exploring Tennessee’s small towns and local festivals and relaxing at our little green cabin in the mountains.

Tanya is originally from Texas but has lived in Middle Tennessee for the past eight years. She holds a BA in Psychology and enjoys helping others. She is also bilingual as a result of being raised in a multi-cultural environment where her father serves as a Hispanic Minister. Singing and songwriting are some of her passions and she is an active member of her church in the areas of worship and arts.. In her spare time she also enjoys gardening, vacationing with her husband Jake and spending time with their daughter Sophie.
