Just because Easter is over doesn’t mean that the fun is over in April! Check out all of these fun events happening during the month in Murfreesboro and let me know if I missed any fun ones!

Adventures in Agriculture

April 14th from 10am to 2pm

Bring the kids out for a fun and FREE event where local farmers will share knowledge on crops, food, animals and more! There will be plenty of hands-on activities and games for kids and adults of all ages!

Park Day

April 14th

Help up to 250 volunteers remove trash from Fortress Rosecrans, Old Fort Park and the Lytle Creek Greenway. Registration begins at 8:30am and the Friends of the Stones River National Battlefield and Walmart will be providing free lunch for volunteers at 12:30. Got a group who wants to help? Boro Adventure Fest

April 21st from 12-4pm

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department and Candle Wishes Foundation are bringing this outdoor adventure to life fir Murfreesboro! The event benefits the local non-profit which brings birthday wishes to life for homeless and needy children. The event includes a hike through the woods, slacklines, rock climbing, and more! There’s also a Kids Zone that includes face painting, animal encounters, a tent playground, games and more! The cost is $10 with pre-registration and $17 with on-site payment. Kids 12 and under are FREE.

42nd Annual Pioneer Days

April 28th from 10am-4pm

There’s free admission for the whole family to enjoy crafters, demonstrations, music, a car show, art show and more! Call for additional information about the event.
